Japanese Craftsmanship in Gold
A special edition of the much-loved Mountain Dripper has arrived, finished with gold decoration applied entirely by hand.
Along the rim, highly pure, near-24-karat gold is carefully hand-painted onto each dripper with an artisan's brush. Set against the smooth white porcelain body, fired using traditional Mino ware techniques, the gold creates an elegant, refined finish that gives this dripper a truly special presence.
One of the charms of this dripper is seeing the gold rim from above as you brew. With every pour, the gold catches your eye, adding a special touch to the simple act of making a cup of coffee.
When it comes to something you use every day, the smallest details can make a difference. This is a dripper designed to bring a little extra joy each time you reach for it.
A Special Look, With the Same Ease of Brewing
The Kinsai Dripper retains the same structure as TORCH's much-loved Mountain Dripper, which remains part of our collection. While its appearance is something special, it offers the same ease of brewing and cup quality as the original Mountain Dripper.
At the base there are a central main dripping hole and star-shaped ridges—a motif symbolizing good fortune—along with five small holes that regulate airflow for a smooth, stable extraction. Its distinctive stepped shape allows water to flow naturally through the coffee bed, helping bring out the coffee's inherent character.
The dripper is compatible with three types of filters: trapezoid, wave, and conical. Among those, we particularly recommend a trapezoid filter. Its shape allows water to spread easily throughout the coffee bed and flow through slowly and evenly, reducing variation in extraction and making it easy to brew a consistently delicious cup without having to pay too much attention to your pouring technique.
